Kevin is a Psychology student pursuing a master's degree in counseling and working towards his Certified Recovery Support Practitioner (CRSP) credential in New Jersey. He is trained in Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance group facilitation and WRAP Seminar 1, and co-facilitates weekly DBSA meetings in Franklin, NJ. Kevin has lived with Social Anxiety Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Major Depressive Disorder since the age of 13. At its worst, his mental health was debilitating enough to cause him to drop out of school. Through mental health treatment, coping skills, and the power of peer support, he reclaimed his path in life and attended college. He initially went for mathematics, however, due to his experience in treatment himself, he was inspired to changed course towards a career in mental health. Kevin believes peer support is often a missing piece in recovery. Having navigated great hardships himself, he is passionate about offering others the same hope, understanding, and support he received. He is focused on fostering safe, healthy, and non-judgmental spaces where individuals can share experiences and heal together
